Question 3: What is Artificer Apprentice Entry in the Navy?
Answer: Only male candidates between the ages of 17 and 20 are eligible for entry as artisans, and they must have received at least a 55% overall average in their 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Question 4: What is Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) entry in the Navy?
Answer: Only male candidates between the ages of 17 and 21 who have passed the 10+2/equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible for SSR entry.
Question 5: What type of questions can I expect in the written exam for sailor entry?
Answer: The exam will have bilingual (Hindi and English) objective-style questions. For Artificer Apprentice, Senior Secondary recruit entrance, and Matric recruit entry, the question paper will have four sections—English, Science, Mathematics, and General Knowledge—and will last 60 minutes. For non-matriculated applicants, the question paper will have two sections, Mathematics and General Knowledge, and will last 40 minutes. The candidates must succeed overall and in each section.
