Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- If the candidate does not reside in India then he or she should be an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
Age:
- The candidates should be minimum of 17 years on December 31, of the year of admission, or candidates belonging to all the categories.
- The candidate should be a maximum of 25 years as of December 31, the year of admission for students belonging to the General Category.
- The maximum age limit is 30 years as of December 31, of the year of admission for students belonging to the Reserved Category.
Qualification:
Students must have passed 12TH Standard Board Exam or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least five mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and an elective subject.
Year of Passing:
- The candidates who are appearing for board exams in the year 2020 are eligible to take NEET 2020.
- The students who have appeared for the 12th standard exams in 2019 and appearing for an improvement exam in 2020 are eligible to apply for NEET 2020.
- Candidates who have appeared for the 12th standard exams in 2018 and have taken the improvement exam in 2019, can mention the year of the exam with a better score.
